Gloversville High School “American Pride Day” Gloversville High School will be honoring local veterans again this year on “American Pride Day.” This year’s ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Gloversville High School. The ceremony will begin at 7:50 AM with a flag raising and a 21- gun salute outside the main entrance of the high school. The ceremony will continue in the auditorium where medals and certificates will be presented to the local veterans by Gloversville High Schools students. A reception will follow the ceremony for local officials, dignitaries, and school administration honoring our local veterans in the high school’s library. This year’s “American Pride Day” will again be honoring our local veterans. The ceremony will be recognizing men and women who served in the military through 1955.
