The Fulton County Museum will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 12-4pm.
September 18th at 10 am:
Rededication of the 1831 Kingsborough Academy historical marker with Fulton County Historian, Peter Betz.
September 23rd, 24th & 25th
The Fulton County Historical Society will hold a garage sale to benefit the Fulton County Museum. If you have items to donate, please bring them to the museum by September 11. No clothes, please.

October 10 at 2 pm;
Dinner at the historic Saltsman’s Hotel in Ephratah. Don Williams will speak about “Historic Hotels and Inns”.
Tickets are $24.00 each and can be obtained by mailing a check to the Fulton County Historical Society, PO Box 711, Gloversville, NY 12078 or at the Fulton County Museum, 237 Kingsboro Avenue, Gloversville. Please purchase tickets by October 1st.
October 22, 6-8 pm
School Days; a reunion of students who attended the former neighborhood Gloversville Grade Schools. Many former Kingsboro Ave Grade School alumni have asked for this, so we have decided to include the other grade schools. The Fulton County Historical Society will team up with the Gloversville High School Mentoring students to show visitors the museum’s collection of year books, scrapbooks and other artifacts from their school days.
November 10,
American Pride Day: starting at 7:30 am at Gloversville High School. This will be a tribute to all of our local veterans. Please, if you are a veteran or know of, one fill out and return this INVITATION.
November 11,
The Pannaci Connection at 7pm, former Gloversville resident, Charles Pannaci, will talk about his early ancestors who settled and played a big part in Gloversville history.
December, No program. Happy Holidays!
January 13th, 2011 at 7 pm
The Annual Meeting of the Fulton County Historical Society and the election of officers will be held. Program to follow.

There is always something new to see! There is no charge to visit the museum, but donations are always greatly appreciated.
The 8th Annual
Ice Cream Social
Watch the local newspapers for the date of the re-dedication of the Kingsborough Academy historical marker which has been restored for the museum by society member Joseph Schmitt. Once, rusty and in three pieces this old marker now looks like new, thanks to Joe.
